May 9 is Victory day in Russia. It is the main holiday here for you can’t find a family in
Russia whose relatives didn’t suffer from that awful war. Every passing year there are
fewer veterans alive here but the memory of those tragic years and those who gave up their
lives defending the motherland is kept in families.
There are Memorial Days in Greece, the Netherlands and Poland too. It’s very important to
remember the lessons of history to prevent the new generation from any war actions.
Life is the greatest value we must take care of.
