World War II in Poland
World War II was a very difficult time for Poland. A lot of innocent
people died while defending their motherland. People of different
nationalities were killed in the death camps. Everyday living was
filled with fear.

World War II brought fear, destruction and death to Poland and
other countries. Warsaw ceased to exist, families lost the loved
ones. People who survived were not the same anymore. The war was a
really terrible experience which should never happen again. Living in
peace depends on us and we should do our best to take care of it.
