World T. E. A. M. Sports’ Military Initiative – SOLDIERS TO THE SUMMIT
There are numerous organizations today that assist veterans with disabilities. At World T. E. A. M. Sports, we’ ve worked closely with disabled veterans since 1998. That January, our Vietnam Challenge joined together former combatants from Vietnam and the United States for an inspiring 1,250-mile bicycle ride from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City.

In October 2010, World T. E. A. M. Sports partnered with other outdoor organizations to create and direct the Soldiers to the Summit Himalayan Expedition to Nepal. With the assistance of a skilled Everest climbing team, 11 disabled veterans summited the ice and snow-covered 20,075-foot Lobuche East.
World T. E. A. M. Sports followed up on our successful Nepal expedition in February 2012 with the Soldiers to the Summit camp at Utah’ s Snowshoe Resort. The 15 participating disabled veterans learned skiing, snowshoeing and other winter sports from professional trainers at the Wasatch Mountains resort.
