position. These are all fairly
quick points to consider, so we’re
almost at the home stretch!
Who will be going where mostly
comes down to politeness,
relative guild size, and the
dominant personality. The
best thing you can do is try to
compromise whenever possible,
let them know what you want,
but don’t be blind to the other
party’s desires. Do you both
have terrible guild names you’re
not attached to? Entertain the
thought of creating a new guild,
which everyone will then join.
Does one side have a great name
and a larger guild roster? Then
the other party should merge
into them, to displace as few
people as possible; this is where
the concept of politeness is the
most obvious choice, but what
if, say, your team carries the
raid, both in performance and
personality? There could be an
argument for that, sure. This is
just something to discuss while
we consider the next point.
