with new office in Almaty
Accenture will target deep expertise in digital transformation
and business process optimization at finance, mining and
processing companies
Almaty (Kazakhstan), December 6, 2019 – Accenture
(NYSE: ACN) announced the opening of its first office
in Almaty, Kazakhstan. With over 10 years successful
experience in the Kazakhstan market, the company is
strengthening its presence in the market from where it
will provide a broader range of technology and consulting
services to Central Asia clients. “The growth prospects of Kazakhstan as one of Eurasia’s
largest transport and logistics hubs, as well as its continuing
transformation into a digital, post-industrial economy, means
we are optimistic about the country’s business potential,” said
Vartan Dilanian, Country Managing Director for Accenture
Russia and Kazakhstan. “Our clients look to us to guide them
through their digital transformation journey to drive business
growth. By opening our first office in the country, we will
enable easier collaboration between them and us across a
variety of disciplines, tapping into our deep industry know-
how and combining it with the latest technologies.”
In the last decade, the consultancy has implemented more
than 30 successful local projects, including the development
of a financial marketplace concept jointly with the Astana
International Financial Center and IT solutions for the
banking and extractive sectors. The new office will primarily
support clients in the Financial Services and Natural
Resources industries. “Accenture’s expertise in digital transformation and business
process optimization in such industries as Finance, Ore
Mining and Processing is in demand in Kazakhstan as
