We are wrapping up this year with this issue

amazed how time flies. Another year has gone and
we are approaching 2020 already!

Highlighted in this issue, Erlan Iskakov, Head of
representative office of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of Kazakhstan in Almaty talks about the
investment potential of Almaty and the work of
the UN office.
Considering the Netherlands is the largest
source of foreign direct investment into
Kazakhstan, we discussed with H.E. Ambassador,
Andre Carstens about the bilateral cooperation
between the RK and the Netherlands, which
included the plans for next year.
Another key article highlights Cornelis (Kees)
Coleman, coordinator of industry consultants for
the small and medium business support group of the
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
(EBRD). Here he discusses the potential for the
development of the agricultural market – the
necessary measures, the main challenges, and
