EXPERT OPINION Contribution of Coca-Cola to Kazakhstan's economy Coca-Cola has been operating in Kazakhstan since 1994 – almost since the country gained independence. In 2008, the company came under the leadership of CCI (Coca-Cola Icecek), a member of the large Turkish group of companies Anadolu. CCI Kazakhstan is the official bottler of The Coca-Cola Company products in Kazakhstan and is engaged in the bottling and distribution of soft drinks under the trademarks of The Coca-Cola Company throughout the country. Today, the company has two plants in the cities Nur-Sultan and Almaty with a staff of more than 700 people and a production volume of more than 600 million liters per year. the country was analyzed: economic, environmental and social. Coca-Cola's full contribution to Kazakhstan's GDP for this period amounted to 69,7 billion tenge. This amount is equal to the revenue of six sectors of the manufacturing industry of Kazakhstan. Analysts emphasize that for one tenge of the company's revenue in the country's economy, more than two tenge is additionally created. In addition, the company provided support for more than 9,000 jobs in 2017 in various sectors of the economy. The cumulative contribution to the labor income of the population over five years amounted to 74 billion tenge. Environmental contribution In its study, Coca-Cola notes progress in optimizing production in terms of environmental friendliness and lower consumption of natural resources.
