Changes in Kazakhstan legislation
on intellectual property rights
FMCG Committee meeting
At the EUROBAK FMCG Committee meeting dedicated to
the discussion of changes in Kazakhstan’s legislation on
intellectual property rights, the changes that have already
come into force were reviewed. It was discussed how the
appearance in the legislation of void transactions and
the changes may affect already concluded transactions
of licensing and franchising. На встрече FMCG Комитета ЕВРОБАК, посвященной
вопросам изменения законодательства Казахстана в
сфере интеллектуальной собственности, рассматри-
вались изменения в законодательстве, которые уже
вступили в силу. Обсуждалось как эти изменения могут
отразиться на уже заключенных лицензионных и фран-
чайзинговых сделках.
The participants were provided with information on the
draft law, which amends the legislation on intellectual
property rights, outlining how the system on registration of
objects and contracts will change, as well as outlining what
new institutions will appear in the legislation and other
expected changes in the law on intellectual property. Участникам была представлена информация о проек-
те закона об изменении законодательства в сфере ин-
теллектуальной собственности, как изменится система
регистрации объектов и договоров, какие новые ин-
ституты появятся в законодательстве, а также другие
ожидаемые изменения.
