New houses from Beeline

On 2 May 2020 , one of the Sardobinsky dams broke through reservoirs in western Uzbekistan . As a result of the breakthrough , severe flooding impacted several villages in Kazakhstan ’ s Turkestan region , causing more than 31 thousand people from 14 populated areas to be evacuated . Many houses were destroyed , and hundreds of families were left homeless .
In the first days after the flood , more than 4,500 residents from the Zhenis , Zhana Turmys , Nurly Zhol , Dostyk , Ferdowsi , and Orgebas villages , who were caught in the disaster zone , immediately received free communication and Internet from Beeline . Later , it was then decided to allocate money for constructing houses through the charity foundation Birgemiz . Total , and since April to
November 2020 , Beeline Kazakhstan allocated 822 million tenge for the construction of victims ’ houses .
On 19 October 2020 , keys for the newly built Beeline houses were handed over to 20 families . Thanks to Beeline , another 30 families will soon receive keys to their new homes .
In general , for those affected by the floods in the Myrzakent , Turkestan region , over 400 houses were built in the village . For residents of the Dostyk settlements , Zhanaturmys and Zhenis who lost their houses , Beeline provided 100 sq . m , three-room houses . All communications have been connected to a new microdistrict , and construction of a kindergarten and school has begun .
