LINET SKYMAX - Storm Watch System

For five years SKYMAX TECHNOLOGIES worked on a project , creating a network of storm direction sensors in Kazakhstan . In 2019 , we successfully set up a system for monitoring lightning activity here , developed in partnership with German colleagues .
It is the only lightning detection network capable of providing high-quality data . Precision in the detection of lightning and proper operation of warning systems are necessary in various situations to protect lives , to ensure the safety of work and outdoor activities , and to reduce the risk of damage to property or any equipment failure .
The development was named LINET System , which is patented and certified in Germany . The LINET system provides sufficient quality due to its intelligent antenna design and intelligent algorithms that determine high accuracy , as well as uniform detection efficiency up to 2.5 kA ( kiloamper ). The system can predict storm activity in a certain location 60 minutes before it begins to form .
The LINET view is an ideal application for observing weather-sensitive objects or operations . Meteorological services , energy suppliers , military and other various sectors also rely on LINET as a control and referral system . Airports use the LINET view to reduce to an absolute minimum the length of stops for turn-arounds . Air traffic control companies prefer the real-time storm tracking and forecasting ( rTNT ) algorithm from the SKYMAX TECHNOLOGIES to plan their operations accurately . Through separate areas of alert , users receive a warning two hours before the expected arrival of the storm . On oil rigs , LINET facilitates - in addition to general storm warnings - surveillance of air and water supply lines , coordination of outdoor work to prevent the dangers of lightning , and optimization of protection measures . Other sectors who can benefit from this technology include railway companies ( a rail network ), wind parks , pipeline or power line operators , the recreation industry , event organizers ( open air ), operators of weather-sensitive facilities , and all other weather-dependent sectors .
