planned to provide the regional centres of
Kazakhstan with the services of fulfillment
centres by 2025. at the post office within minutes. Currently,
goods worth more than 1.012 million
tenge have been sent through our network.
For 10 months of 2019, the volume of
postal items amounted to 4 million units,
with the service of 80 online stores. Actively developing e-commerce, the rapid
growth of international mail requires new
solutions and the need to bring cross-
border trade in the European direction to
a new level.
In 2020, plans to open four centres in the
cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent,
Saryagash, and by 2025 to bring the total
number to 19 centres. The expansion of
the network of fulfillment centres will
increase the volume of postal items and
bring their number to 82.8 million by 2025
and provide services to 1,031 online stores.
Also, in April of this year the head of state
signed amendments to laws allowing
Kazpost JSC to provide simplified export
of goods for legal entities. This allows the
sender to complete all export procedures
One of the projects being implemented in
this direction is the transit service of inter-
national mail via the Khorgos International
Shipping Centre, implemented by Kazpost
JSC (Bonded Warehouse). The relevant leg-
islative and regulatory acts that have been
adopted have made it possible to launch
this service on July 2 of this year.
On August 7, 2019, the first consignment
of goods from the People's Republic of
China was received in transit by mail to
the countries of the European Union.
To date, contracts have been con-
cluded with the logistics companies
GrandBillion, Grandpost, Post Chain,
SF Express, Chang Da Yong Yue, and
Clevy.
In general, the development of
e-commerce and the country's transit
potential will contribute to a favorable
climate for attracting investments, the
development and improvement of the
logistics infrastructure, and significantly
reduce the delivery time for goods to
Europe and Central Asia.
