St Pancras (London)
This station is practically the same age as Charing Cross, and is also located in the center of the British capital, it received
its name from the nearby Church of St Pankratia. The station was built in the years 1865-1868 and is a classic example of
Victorian architecture. In 2007, the station experienced reconstruction: now the platforms and tracks are located on two levels,
and the station became the terminal for Eurostar trains (instead of Waterloo station), connecting London with Brussels and
Paris. In 2010, The Guardian called St Pancras the most beautiful train station in the world.
