L’art de vivre or the art
of living in French
Thousands of books have been written about
the lifestyle of the French. On French fashion,
which combines a sense of the carefree with
the most sophisticated accessories of leading
brands. About French gastronomy, where wine
and cheese prevail, of which there are more
than 300 varieties. About the French diet, which
allows you to enjoy delicacies and not gain
weight.
‘L’art de vivre’ or ‘the art of living’ in French is rather not a
set of rules, but an attitude towards life in general. The art of
enjoying life here and now, savoring every moment and going
nowhere slowly.
And it is not surprising that the French invented such a
concept as an aperitif. Aperitif (from the Latin “Aperīre”,
which means “to open”) is a low-alcohol beverage, which is
served before the main meal in order to refresh the taste
buds and whet the appetite.
The most famous aperitif in the South-East of France is,
of course, Lillet, and cocktails are based on it. Lillet is a
wine-based aperitif with natural citrus liqueurs. The grapes
for wines, which are subsequently used for the production
