out technology transfer, share our
global expertise with local universities,
and together with our clients and
partners we implement projects in
which students participate. Recently,
we started interacting with a local
startup community, the development
of which is also an integral part of the
transition to the digital economy.
Could you tell us more about the
decision to create a EUROBAK
Digital Committee? What tasks will
be solved and what further steps
will you take to develop it as one
of the initiators of the Committee?
Analysts expect a quarter of the
global economy to be involved in
the digital transformation process
within five years. This means that in
the near future, 25% of competitors
will work more efficiently, faster, with
greater focus on the consumer. And
the availability of IT will contribute
to the emergence of completely
new market players, more flexible
and technologically advanced, and
therefore more competitive.
However, along with the rapid
development of technology, it is
also necessary to inform companies
about how to use them, about issues
of information security, and perhaps
even to dispel myths somewhere.
That is why on the EUROBAK
platform, together with several
companies within the Association,
we decided to combine efforts
and share our experience and the
experience of our customers in
digital transformation, which will be
relevant for Kazakhstan companies.
The platform of the European
Business Association of Kazakhstan
was not chosen by chance – the
association is well known as an
effective communication channel
for European business with local
companies and the public sector.
Together
with
our
partners,
we are also ready to develop
recommendations for various sectors
of the economy, to hold information
sessions on the use of various
technologies in Kazakhstan. It is worth
noting that the task of the committee
is not to impose a single standard,
since not all, for example, European
practices are necessarily suitable for
Kazakhstan. The local market has
the right to develop independently
and in full accordance with the laws
of a particular country. However, we
believe that the explanatory and in
some sense educational work that will
be carried out within the framework of
the Committee’s work, as well as the
global experience of companies within
EUROBAK, which they will share, will
contribute to the development of the
digital ecosystem in the country.
