The use of the vertical materials
delivered bold visual impact,
allowing the booth to be open,
dynamic and exploratory while
maximising all the available space.
The design featured close to 600
bands of fabric of varying lengths
suspended from 20’ above the
show floor, all hanging perfectly
unwrinkled in Interac’s shade of
golden yellow, creating the entryways,
walking paths, and informal
meeting spaces. The modular suspended
grid, custom-built to fit
the footprint of any future shows,
allows all the pieces to be hung in
exact positions for each show.
Inside the space, there were 4
casual meeting spaces and a formal
meeting room for scheduled
meetings and ‘closed-door’ discussions.
Without having many
major hard wall panels, the space
felt very open-concept from some
perspectives and very private and
enclosed from others. Intriguing,
eye-catching and immersive.
