The wood for the stand was
sourced from pallets from medical
facilities, metal from an old wartime
barn and the counters were
made from crushed up plastics and
car parts. Even the plant pots were
made from old bicycle parts and
all plants came from a supplier’s
greenhouses. They were returned
after the event.
As well as the stand using no
plastic in its construction, no tape,
bubble wrap or pallet wrap were
used in transportation or during
the event. Nothing was thrown
away afterwards. AV was sourced
locally, reducing transport impact.
