The Macaw Conservation Volunteer programme rescues and rehabilitates injured Macaws, as well as provide a sanctuary for those previously kept as illegal pets. Volunteers partake in a number of different tasks including maintaining cages and aviaries, feeding birds, collecting bird food around the beach and property, help release rehabilitated birds and much more!
You can join from 1-12 weeks all throughout the year, and all volunteers should be at least 18 years of age. English is required and Spanish is very helpful, even if basic.
