NEW! Sea Turtle Conservation Volunteer Project in Greece
Does your travel plans include some of the Greek islands this year? When don't they! Now you have the chance to partake in important sea turtle conservation work while enjoying those beautiful, sandy beaches of Greece!
On the largest island off the West coast of Greece, Kefalonia, is where you will find our Sea Turtle Conservation project. Here staff, interns and volunteers alike work hard to further protect the sea turtles that come to nest each year and their eggs.
The project is running from June to October at two different locations, Argostoli and Lixouri. Volunteers will take part in various tasks, which include night beach surveys, measurement and protection of nests, nest inventories and much more. This will also depend on the location that they join. You can join for 2 or 4 weeks.
