Compass Ethical Volunteering and Travel Conference
In February, Charlotte from the WorkingAbroad team went to Birmingham to speak at the Compass Ethical Volunteering and Travel Conference. It brought together several excellent speakers from the travel and volunteering industry to talk about what YOU need to do, to make sure that your volunteering and travel experience will be ethical and sustainable. The documentary Blood Lions was also screened, and if you haven't seen it already - do it!
