There are a number of ways in which a high to moderate income couldpositively affect a child’s performance; early enhancement of growth/development, strengthening connections between the family to provide a good atmosphere at home to be ableto study in, ensure well managed programs that involve parents and decision-making, and also

the connection between the child and parent could be a stronger letting the child be more well-rounded as an individual.

What are some risks of low-income family students?

Poor relationships among the family; lack of time because the parents may have to work overtime hours to be financially stable. This could affect a child's performance because they have less ways to grow and develop- they have to be more independent and rely on themselves. If a child comes back to a poorer atmosphere; this could affect his study habits. Also, not having both a mother/father figure around during development stages could lead him/her to do poorly in school because they have not learned properly from their guardians.
