Each January the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce kicks off the year with its signature Community Awards Gala . This annual event honors the award recipients of the year – Business , Everyday Hero , Educator , Nonprofit , Public Safety Worker . It is an upscale evening of celebration , socializing and camaraderie that includes cocktail hour , live music , formal dinner , inspiring awards program , silent and live auctions . This event is not only a celebration but is also a major fundraiser for Chamber programming .

The Woodbury Community EXPO is an annual Spring event celebrating more than a decade of bringing together local businesses , organizations and residents . This free , familyfriendly event includes more than 150 vendor booths , a wide variety of entertainment , vehicle fair , food booths and engaging activities for all ages .
