Women’s Network
Australia (WNA) has been
the leading women’s national
networking organisation bringing
women together from all around
Australia, to share their stories
and to celebrate their success as
business owners and achievers.
Many of these women have
been pioneers, role models and
mentors in their specialised area
of excellence delivering quality
products and services locally,
nationally and internationally.
With the increasing number
of women now working in the
micro-business sector including
those that are home based and
live in rural and remote locations,
it has never been a better time to
join WNA to Connect, Grow and
Succeed through these amazing
networking opportunities that we
offer to our Members.
As the WNA Owner and Chief
Executive Officer, I am really
excited about the future for
WNA as we embrace the Digital
E-volution and explore new ways
of working together through
our on and offline services and
support for our WNA Members.
Since buying the business in
2017, I have invested my time in
listening to our WNA members,
business leaders and researching
the opportunities to reach a
broader target market via social
media advertising and articles of
interest that reflect the lifestyles
and diversity of businesses that
our WNA members own.
What I love the most is being able
to work in partnership with women
who are entrepreneurial, micro and

small business owners who through
their economic contributions are
empowering and inspiring other
women to succeed in life.
In my first year at the helm of WNA,
I have worked very hard with my
team to deliver a fresh new look
to the organisation with our new
brand logo, reactivated our national
member networks and launched
our fabulous WNA E-Magazine
while continuing to maximise
and promote our WNA Members
profiles and businesses on our
WNA website and facebook page.
As a small business owner and
mother, I know the challenges that
many women in small business
struggle with to find that happy
medium between spending time
building the business networks,
maintaining the family home,
balancing the budget, securing a
regular cash flow and looking for
any opportunities to expand into
new areas utilising the Digital
E-volution platform.
Having grown up in rural
Queensland – on a dairy farm in
Boonah, I know how challenging
this can also be for women living
in our rural and regional areas
especially those that are not able to
attend our face to face meetings or
events that occur between normal
business hours of Monday to Friday
and 9am – 5pm. This is where our
regular 1 Hour Zoom Business
Building sessions provide a great
opportunity to gain new ideas and
to meet other members around
Australia and promote your own
business and services too.
My heart goes out to the families on
the land in drought affected areas
who are really doing it tough at
the moment. Many women living
in these rural and regional areas
are soloprenuers and are finding
new pathways in growing their
business to help subsidise the
running costs of the farm. If you
have any suggestions on how we
can continue to Connect, Grow
and Succeed using the Digital
E-volution platform, I’d love to
hear from you
