12 years after the phenomenal
success of Kenny, director/actor
Clayton Jacobson reunites with
his brother Shane Jacobson in
a very different film, yet just as
quintessentially Australian and
individual. On a cold morning in
the middle of country Victoria,
two brothers arrive at the family
home intent with treacherous
intent. Terry and Jeff’s motive is
to make sure their dying Mother’s
plan to change her will in favor of
her husband - their stepfather - is
upturned. It is all meticulously
planned, but there is one thing
the boys didn’t take into account
- spending an entire day together.
Old grudges, different worldviews
and a general troubled history will
pit these two brothers against each
other. TWO IS A FAMILY is a crowd-
pleasing comedy about the jovial
Samuel (Omar Sy), a care-free
ladies’ man living large in the South
of France, who is thrust into single-
fatherhood without warning when
former lover Kristin (Clémence
Poésy) arrives out of nowhere and
deposits an infant daughter in his
care. Incapable of looking after a
baby, Samuel rushes to the UK in
an attempt to return the child to
her mother, without any luck, and is
forced to bringing up the daughter
he never knew he wanted, but who
he soon realises he cannot live
without. TEA WITH THE DAMES invites
you to spend time with theatrical
icons Joan Plowright, Judi Dench,
Maggie Smith and Eileen Atkins off
screen as they talk about their lives
now and then: their experience
in theatre, TV and cinema and the
memories that they have from
when they were bright young
things right up to the present day -
now looking back with the wisdom
of the years.

And all of them, as anyone
can observe, are spectacularly
comfortable in their own skin:
larger than life characters
whose personalities reflect the
extraordinary experience of
playing hundreds of characters
and the great joy they’ve brought
to the world. They are full of wit
and wisdom with a lifetime of
knowledge to share.
