It’s about making a difference.’ Kathy Calvin, CEO, president of the United Nations Foundation. There are a vast number of ways to share your knowledge. Some are photographs, podcasts, videos, and of course the written word. While words can be in the form of a blog post, an article, a comment on Facebook or LinkedIn, one of the longest standing forms of the written word remains the humble book. The ability to reread and revisit a book is one of the cheapest and simplest ways for us to connect with others who inspire us and those who lift us up. How can you ‘make a difference’ using a book as a tool to give back? Think about your life and business journey to date. What books have made a difference to how you have handled critical junctures in your life? How have a few words in a book, make an enormous difference to you? How can you have this level of impact on, potentially, many others?
