make their business dreams come true. The truth is
there is no secret.

It’s very easy to be distracted by the shiny and
sparkly things of business, like social media,
fancy apps and accolades. Most entrepreneurs
and business owners fall victim to shiny object
syndrome, but the ones who are successful are the
ones who can manage and control it and stay on
track with their sales.
Some people are spending large amounts of money
on coaches and mentors who teach systems and
processes as the way to start and grow any business.
I’m not saying that systems aren’t important, they
are, BUT what good are processes if you aren’t
selling anything? Your go-to for any business start
up or existing should ALWAYS be SELL! Find ways
to sell your products and services through as many
different avenues as you can. Find what works and
do it, then continue to do it over and over again. Let’s be real, most people don’t like sales or selling
and they end up selling purely out of desperation.
This is not attractive for the clients or the business.
When a sale finally is made, they then reward
themselves by splurging on marketing or new
equipment. Focus is taken away from the selling so
the sales start to dwindle and the downward spiral
begins. We all know it is harder to start something
than it is to maintain. Sales should be maintained
and nurtured as a top priority of the business. No
Excuses!
I can hear most of you saying… ‘what about balance?
What about burnout?’ Well all I can say is if you
aren’t prepared to bust a nut making your business
a success then maybe you should look at the safety
of a regular job. Business is not easy BUT it can
be made easier by focussing your efforts on sales.
Money makes it a heck of a lot easier to do the cool
shit you want to do. If you’re not selling, hire someone who can.
I don’t want to hear ‘I cant afford it’, you cant afford
not to. Sales is the single most important aspect
of your business and should be treated as such. If
you aren’t good at sales … GET GOOD! Hire a sales
coach, download sales training audio to listen to in
the car or at the gym.
Only when this process is a completely autonomous
revenue stream can you focus your attentions on
to something else and start to build your systems
