when I was very young, I was captivated by
my grandmothers house, my grandfather
and great grandfather had built it and
had owned many investment properties
in Hobart in the early 1900s”, Alison said.
“For one reason or another I didn’t pursue
Real Estate early in my career. I now know
why!” she burst out with. “I needed all of my
experiences, skills and wisdom to be able
to offer my clients the difference I bring!
Whilst purchasing a house is the ultimate
outcome, it’s not just about the building or
the location, its more than that. It’s a place
to fall in love with, to belong, to feel safe in. I
have 10’s of thousands of hours empathising
with others, inspiring them to take action
towards their dreams and evoking emotions
that bring about a desire and a decision.
In this moment I can secure the very best
result for all concerned.”
years on that it was certainly no accident!
Bringing people together and introducing
them for romantic love fast became a gift
Alison relentlessly pursued. For a decade
she ran Tasmania’s premier dating agency,
the catalyst for hundreds of permanent
relationships, marriages and a new life.
As a new Mum herself, with a partner
creating his own companies, Alison firstly
accepted employment with a lifestyle
consultancy, again inspiring others to
remember how to love themselves and live
a healthy and productive life. Then came
the ‘Business to Business’ sectors, assisting
companies to grow, improve customer
service and create a prosperous enterprise.
At this point Alison sought new ways to
connect with business owners.
Women’s Network Australia was an
organisation she felt aligned with and so

her WNA journey began! From there sparked
her next business venture, an advertising
and marketing company, “It must have been
hanging around with dynamic and inspiring
women that I got the business bug again! “,
Alison exclaimed. Alison soon morphed her
business into a consultancy that encouraged
people to fall in love with a brand. Working
with business owners through networking
events and workshops to focus on who
they are being in business, to uncover their
reason for being in business in the first
place, and the contribution they wished
to make to the world and finally how this
message would impact the lives of others. “
I love the ripple effect that is created when
people come together to encourage one
another!” Alison says.
After a decade in this business, Alison
made in her words, ‘a quite scary ‘
industry shift and secured her Tasmanian

of love, connection and belief. “When we
impart this to others, we allow them to
dream, we build self-worth, resilience
and courage. From this conviction to act
come determination and discipline and
the resilience to navigate and overcome
anything that may get in the way of
accomplishing dreams. So be the one who
guides people home, they really will love the
space they live in!", she encourages.
Alison Rogers is our Hobart Ambassador
and is the powerhouse behind why the WNA
Hobart events run like a well oiled machine.
Alison says that as Regional Ambassador for
WNA, I have a privileged position. Whilst
supporting local business owner members, I
also get to host educational forums and see
some true connections and collaborations
taking place, we really do have loads of fun
and take hold of opportunities! – really
maximising the benefits of the WNA
membership.
