For a decade she ran Tasmania’s premier dating agency, the catalyst for hundreds of permanent relationships, marriages and a new life. As a new Mum herself, with a partner creating his own companies, Alison firstly accepted employment with a lifestyle consultancy, again inspiring others to remember how to love themselves and live a healthy and productive life. Then came the ‘Business to Business’ sectors, assisting companies to grow, improve customer service and create a prosperous enterprise. At this point Alison sought new ways to connect with business owners. Women’s Network Australia was an organisation she felt aligned with and so 16 Women’s Network Magazine her WNA journey began! From there sparked her next business venture, an advertising and marketing company, “It must have been hanging around with dynamic and inspiring women that I got the business bug again! “, Alison exclaimed. Alison soon morphed her business into a consultancy that encouraged people to fall in love with a brand. Working with business owners through networking events and workshops to focus on who they are being in business, to uncover their reason for being in business in the first place, and the contribution they wished to make to the world and finally how this message would impact the lives of others. “ I love the ripple effect that is created when people come together to encourage one another!” Alison says. Alison says that as Regional Ambassador for WNA, I have a privileged position. Whilst supporting local business owner members, I also get to host educational forums and see some true connections and collaborations taking place, we really do have loads of fun and take hold of opportunities! – really maximising the benefits of the WNA membership.
