Question 12. Say for instance we're going to interview you again in the next three years, (which is highly likely) what would it take for you to feel happy with your progress? To have succeeded in the things that I'm putting into place at the moment. So to be an incredible mentor that changes my clients lives, that helps them to live their best and most happy lives possible. Simply to change lives for the better daily. For my new TM Vault to reach my subscription targets, and to have achieved all my current and future set goals. I'm big into setting goals but I'm also big into understanding that sometimes we must reset those goals because there are certain things that are just not going to work no matter how hard you try or how much effort and time you put into it. Continuing to strive forward, getting great growth both personally and within my business, It's all about progress. Question 13. What's the biggest mistake that you've made in business? The biggest mistake lol would definitely be not moving on things fast enough. I hate the word procrastination and I'm not a procrastinator, but when it involves a lot of money and things like that, I tend to overthink it too long and too hard. Even simple things like a computer system, when GST was coming in, my accountant said to me, I had five stores at that stage, and he said you are not going to survive GST coming in if you do not get computerised. I umm'ed and ah'ed and put that off for as long as I possibly could. Once I had it, and I saw the tools that gave me the opportunities for knowledge for my buying and management control, I was like why the hell did I not do this three years or five years or whatever years ago? This is crazy. This is great. This is gold. Question 14. Your latest venture, which is the Tracey Mathers Vault, can you walk us through that and tell us what it is and then ultimately why you started it? So the TM Vault was set up because on a daily basis I talk to woman who need help, they may not be able to afford private mentoring right now, so I wanted to create a platform where they feel I am still talking to them, but they also have the added advantage of many more incredible woman all talking together. Great conversation and support all on one private Facebook page 12 Women’s Network Magazine It's a pre-recorded video on the topic each week and then it's daily posts unpacking everything about that topic. So, there will be a conversation around it, people can send in questions which again will start great conversation. I just love women, I think we are awesome, and the thing that upsets me is when I see women confused and without a clear vision or purpose, and don't know how to get that vision and they're chasing their tails, they're unhappy. Some parts of their lives are working, some aren't. I want the whole part of their life to be working. I want them to step into their power and feel the best that they can be so that they can have the most amazing year. As women, it's a natural thing that we put ourselves last, we always put the family first, we always put kids first, all that sort of stuff, we have got to try and change that. We are important and unless we can get us right, it's very difficult to look after all of them and still have the energy to do something with yourself at the end of the day. The program is about opening up conversation around topics that will help people change and grow. My vision is to create a powerful group of amazing women who feel they have a safe space to ask questions and to get them thinking differently on how they can change their life and gain greater clarity, confidence and connection for a more successful business and personal life. Question 15 Why is networking so important and how do you make sure you connect with the right people? Oh My God! Networking is the bomb. I have the most incredible network of people in my life. So, I can help people at the drop of a hat, I've got people I can call on, I am constantly working on my network. People go ‘oh, I don't have the time’. I say you don't have the time not to do it. You’ve got to be able to do it. You meet the most amazing people who make you think outside the box. You meet people who maybe haven't even done as much in their life as what you have and you learn the best lesson of your year through that person. You’ve got to go into these networks with an open mind, you've got to talk to people, get involved in what they're doing, see how you can help them. It's not just about you, it's about what you can do for them. So how can I help you and then in return, would you mind helping me with this. If you're using it properly if you're using it well, I'm telling you, it's absolute gold to your life. I have met some of my closest, most valued, beautiful friends at networking events.
