Mrs Lisa Newman was the Lady Mayoress for the
City of Brisbane and Chairperson of the Lord
Mayor’s Community Trust from 2004 until early
2011, raising over $4million for Brisbane Charities,
with particular focus on at risk and homeless
youths. Her husband, Campbell Newman, was
Lord Mayor of Brisbane from 2004 until early
2011, and Premier of Queensland from 2012 – 2015.
Lisa is an active community member with
previous and current involvement with various
organisations. Lisa is actively involved with
Zonta International and is a founding member
of the new Zonta Club of Brisbane City Heart.
