The Australian Financial Review 100
Women of Influence Awards presented
by Qantas are designed to increase the
visibility of women’s leadership and
highlight the important contribution
women make in creating a bold and
diverse future for Australia.
This year will be the seventh year for
the awards program, and will open to
applicants across 10 categories: arts,
culture and sport; board and management;
business and entrepreneur; diversity and
inclusion; global; innovation; local and
regional; public policy; social enterprise
and not-for-profit; and young leader.
The Australian Financial Review 100
Women of Influence Awards presented by

most formidable and talented individuals.

The awards are intended to encourage
the widest possible range of women to
enter or be nominated and show their
contribution.
Despite the wind-chilled Sydney
conditions, the beinc team were on
a positive high after attending the
AustraliaFinancial Review Top 100
Womenof Influence Breakfast.
We got to chat and rub-
shoulders with some of the most
influential businesswomen in the
countryincluding Dr Anne Bunde-
Birouste(Founding Director of
Football United), Berne Gibbons
(Managing Director of Vitro Software)
and Megan Davis (2018 overall AFR
woman of influence). This amazing
opportunity, on behalf of Women's
Network Australia Magazine, was
an enlightening, uplifting and a
powerful experience!
