WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START YOUR BUSINESS VENTURE? The inspiration was to truly help people and do things a little differently. I found working under a particular brand shadowed my creativity and hindered my ability to give a little extra to people. Having my own company has allowed me to let my imagination run free and provide a remarkable service and experience to all my clients. My core purpose is to help people. WHAT THREE PIECES OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO WANT TO BECOME CEO? 1) Be fearless but not reckless, follow your gut but use your brain. 2) Care for your people and they will care for you. Just be nice, you always catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. 3) Be transparent, open and someone who people can look up to and trust. WHAT HAVE BEEN SOME OF YOUR FAILURES AND HOW DID YOU LEARN FROM THEM? One of my biggest failures throughout my real estate journey would be hiring the wrong people to work with me. I’ve learnt that every single one of my staff members brings something unique to the table, and the importnce of hiring the WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF AND YOUR BUSINESS IN FIVE YEARS TIME? Honestly, I would love to be debt free, have built the dream house and open another office full of enthusiastic real estate agents who share the same passion as myself. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE MOST REMEMBERED FOR IN BUSINESS? I want to be the person you look back at and think ‘she really cared’. I want to be remembered for the amount of time, commitment, integrity and passion that I put into what I do every day. I never want someone to walk away from me thinking that I am incapable, or that I don’t have the heart for selling houses.
