2 UNEASY ROAD: It wasn’t a pretty win, but the Sabres got it done against
host Rockford last time out. The one point victory was thanks to a 20-for-26
effort at the free throw line, all of which occurred in the second half.
3 SHARING THE SUGAR: Marian ranks second in conference play with
14.3 assists per game on 20.3 made field goals per contest. Dani Huray leads
the Sabres with 4.7 assists per conference game.
4 THREE-POINT PROWESS: The Sabres entered the week ranked fourth in
the nation in three-pointers made per game (9.6). They trail national leader
North Central (11.2) by a slim margin.
5 LOOKING AHEAD: After Saturday, Marian will look ahead to a two-game
week, wrapping up non-conference play against UW-Oshkosh Wed., Dec.
18, before a NACC battle with rival Edgewood at home Sat., Dec. 21.
