Seeing The Art
Will you organize another Art Expo?
Yes, I am sure there will be a third. But we
will need to look at time, location and most
importantly marketing.
I believe we have a good base with 2 years
behind us and hope to add some hands on
activities to increase interest and for people to
experience the creation of art.
What have you learned about yourself?
I started listing my personal work experience,
the comments and suggestions from family and
friends and clients. I also created a list of the
projects where I have volunteered. I also made
a list of ideas that I have had and a few actions
that I have taken in the past.
While listing my experience and actions I
learned that I am braver than I give myself
credit. For example, I also work as a Step On
Guide for cruise ships that visit the area. I
am proud of my community, the history, the
landscape, the culture and the people.
I know that love of my community, the people,
the culture and wanting to help others is in my
heart. My dream is to help create world wide
awareness to the beauty and talent that lives
here- is the foundation to my future.
I am grateful that I took this sabbatical from
painting to gain come clarity. I am now seeing
a clearer path to reaching my goal and
fulfilling my dream
I also took a little time to enjoy another passion
of mine - sometimes a girl just needs to head
out on the road to clear her head.
Do you have more specific ideas that you are
willing to share?
My dream is to help other artists.
These new budding artists that need more
direction on prices and experimenting with
their work, new ideas, and help to realize their
strengths, discover their purpose.
To create, to become professional if they
choose. Cont’d...
