Letter from the

Editor

is I, the editor of this magazine, Jennifer. There's a long list of hobbies and passions that I could talk about for hours, but they all boil down to art. More specifically, drawing (traditionally and digitally) and creating animations. Im this very magazine, you'll be able to see a piece that I drew digitally on page 20.

But, among other things, I value justice and equality, which is where the idea to make my magazine about women empowerment originated.

T

Back then and now, I wouldn't call myself girly. I'm

the girl that has two hairstles: up in a ponytail

because I'm being active or I'm annoyed of it being

in the way or loose because there's no need for it to

be up in a ponytail. Since I could never relate to any

of the girls, I would always look to make friends with

the boys. I hit it off hanging with guys pretty well...

most of the time. There would be times when the boys would shoo me away saying "You're a girl, only boys can play". So it doesn't strike me as odd that, as I got older and saw just how bad women can get unfairly treated, doing something to counterattack this callenge evolved into another passion thanks to the whole STF process.

Right now, I present to you a magazine about Women Empowerment, an article about how I tried putting in my own grain of sand to stop the inequality of women, and how you can also take part in making the world a place where everyone is seen as equal. Because if we ever want the world to get better, then we each have to carry our own responsibility to ensure we reflect what we want our society to be. If we don't participate, then this paragraph will have become words of empty promises and tales we only wish we could tell.

With every ounce of sincerity, I hope that you enjoy reading this magazine and I also hope that you find a benefit to reading it. Whether it was how to boost your confidence or even learning a new fact. Thank you.
