ABOUT THE ARTIST : Wanda Paulette is mainly self-taught and has been painting for more than 35 years . She is a native and current resident of South Florida . She developed a love for portraiture early on and paints abstracted and cubist images of the mainly Afro-centric female portrait . The use of bold and brightly colored palettes is a signature of her work .
