I live in Jersey in the UK Channel Island. I emigrated from France to Jersey over 25 years ago and started a family there. The island is so beautiful and its sites varied and eclectic; it is difficult not to take photographs. I experiment with different styles, landscape and sport. In August 2013, I attended a workshop held by renowned light painter David Gilliver - this was the revelation that turned my photography around. Since then, I have been seeking dark locations, taken the camera out in the cold nights of winter and started creating light painting pictures. It’s fun and addictive! What I love about light painting is that if you have a camera that you can set on bulb mode, any type of light and a little imagination, you can create anything you want ... the night is my canvas, and the world around me a background on which to paint with my light colours.
