website italian-american artist Marian Palucci mixed media I am an artist, a writer and a photographer. My paintings and writings are inspired by the blessings that surround my life. My children, grandchildren, and my family, are a driving force of inspiration. To wake each day, above all, is a gift from God. How we choose to open that gift and receive it, is truly up to us. My wish is that my art, photography, and writings can bless, reach out, or just inspire. Inspiration. ART I painted this piece, the circle of life, because life is very precious. I was very ill with my second pregnancy, I almost died three times in the first trimester. The doctors said there is no hope for survival of the fetus; I said to them, “You’re wrong”! I made the decision to carry my daughter for nine months, I ate only lamb and rice. I signed releases that the physicians where not responsible for the birth, upon their request, of course. I had told them that life is a circle, and the circle is life. I am proud to say I shocked every doctor, lawyer and all those who wanted me to terminate my child at three months. She is an outstanding woman today and beautiful, both inside and out. wom en
