Answers to be discovered and then lived in this transformative year of delight and self-discovery. Today carve out a quiet interlude for yourself in which to dream, pen in hand. Only dreams give birth to change.” Sarah Ban Breathnach I love traveling and having my feet on different soil. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to set sail and head off into the horizon by ship to find new lands. I must admit that I’m not a fan of peoples who have conquered others in their travels but it’s the concept of travelling to new places that intrigues me -especially to be the first in a particular culture to see a land (and all of its natural inhabitants, animals, plants, etc.) for the first time and bring back home information and stories about what was learned. I feel as though every time I review a new artist’s work I’m also venturing to a new place that I’ve never been -- I love it. Throughout the year, it has been a pleasure getting to chat with a few of these artists and I feel as though I now have a growing network of friends in lands that I hope to travel to one day - perhaps even grab a cup of coffee with them as I learn even more about their work, their perspective and what inspires their craft. I hope that as you reflect on your previous year, you are reminded of fond memories that co
