Born in Germany, Pepponi is living since
20 years in Palma de Mallorca / Spain.
After working for 33 years in tourism,
living overseas and travelling around in
Europe, America, Asia and Africa (11 years
in Kenya).
She started painting as a child
and meanwhile painting is her most
favourite hobby. Being commended and
complimented by her friends, family and
people around her, she got the inspiration
to continue seeking an unforgettable
experience with her artistic talent. Of all
tried out materials she prefer painting
on wood. The combination of abstract
and figurative style, playing with light,
the portrayal of perspectives and mostly
the strong expression of colours are her
trademark.
Pepponi gets inspired by everything, what is
surrounding her – every kind of art, books, pictures,
textiles, exhibitions, events, colours, light, sea, beach,
sunrise and sunset, animals, landscapes, seasons,
nature, plants and flowers – the list is never ending.
Especially the colours and the smell of Africa and Asia
are deeply in her memory.
No wonder that with this background in the
past years her colourful paintings have found some
admirers.
Pepponi has exhibitions in Spain and abroad,
and her artworks are part of private collections
worldwide, such as Spain, Germany, Switzerland,
United Kingdom, United States, Australia and India.
In Deutschland geboren, lebt Pepponi seit 20
Jahren in Palma de Mallorca.
Sie ist viel in der Welt herumgekommen, hatte
private und vor allem berufliche Aufenthalte in
Europa, Amerika, Asien und Afrika, davon alleine 11
Jahre in Kenia.
Bereits in ihrer Kinderzeit malte sie ihre ersten Bilder.
Sie experimentierte viele Jahre mit unterschiedlichen
Materialien. Heute malt sie bevorzugt mit Acryl auf
Holz. Das Spiel und die Kombination mit abstraktem
und figurativem Stil, mit Licht, die Darstellung von
Perspektiven, Harmonie - und vor allem die starke
Ausdruckskraft der Farben sind ihr Markenzeichen.
Pepponi lässt sich von allem, was sie umgibt,
inspirieren – jede Art von Kunst, Bücher, Fotos,
Textilien, Ausstellungen, Farben, Licht, Meer, Strand,
Sonnenauf- und Untergang, Tiere, Landschaften,
Jahreszeiten, Natur, Pflanzen – die Liste ist
unerschöpflich. Besonders die Farben und Gerüche
Afrikas und Asiens sind ihr noch ganz besonders
lebhaft in Erinnerung.
Mit diesem Hintergrund ist es nicht verwunderlich,
dass ihre farbenfrohe Kunst weltweit immer mehr
Bewunderer findet.
Pepponi’s Bilder werden in Ausstellungen
in Spanien und im Ausland gezeigt. Ihre
aussergewoehnliche Kunst ist Teil von privaten,
weltweiten Sammlungen, z. B. in Spanien,
Deutschland, Schweiz, Grossbritannien, Vereinigte
Staaten, Australien und Indien.
