etsy website facebook e-mail dutch artist Annelies van Biesbergen of atelier van biesbergen When I was six years old I decided, once grown up, to go to Art Academy because that seemed to me the only way to do for ever what I loved most at that time; drawing, painting, busy with all sort of materials, textile and clay. I couldn’t wait. So I did at the age of 19 and after graduation in 1989, here I am nearly twenty five years a full time artist (2014). The themes in my Art deals with every day life and relations between people and animals around me. Drawing is my second nature. The first ideas are notations and thoughts in sketches on paper. I love to explore all sorts of new techniques and solutions. Creating Art is a lifetime adventure. Making Art is my way of living and I realize I am a very happy person.
