Romanian artist Elena Zaharia digital art ABOUT THE ARTIST: I spent my childhood in communism; I knew hunger, I knew pain, and what I experienced most of all – was fear. A deep, breath- taking fear that crushed my voice my your ribs. You didn’t look up, you didn’t ask Why, you just obeyed. Now I got rid of the masks of fear and obedience and live colorfully - I feel free to do that! My art is a vivid manifestation of colors meant to stimulate the imagination, to emphasize a woman’s power and authority over her own body. ART 15 pag e
