Expand Your Vision
Owner/Operators
There are ideas that pop in your head like squirrels at a rave and then there are ideas that bloom into a
vision to shape the future of your business.
Spruce Park Ranch Country Store star ted as a small idea for a way to get our farm-raised and
handmade products into the hands of customers who wanted them all year long. Just a simple one isle
store with a side door to what was once a studio attached to the back of a garage.
It was cute, it was the definition of DIY, and it had a little hard-core following. Yet, 19 years later, nobody could have imagined
that itty-bitty space would morph into over 2000 square feet of home décor retail space with a quaint coffee shop.
Our initial vision of a country store, located on the
original farm homestead of over 100 years, grew one
step at a time. From one isle, to two, a garage conversion,
a side porch enclosure, and now a whole new addition to
encompass our long-term growth plan.
It is now a destination store full of unique treasures for
those who love modern country with seasonal events,
exclusive shopping nights, and a lot of heart.
It can be really difficult to tell the gems in the chaos
of squirreling ideas, but out of that whirlwind the
diamonds can be found. This was where the idea to ‘go
big or go home’ came from.
We are a destination, ag-tourism business, and we were
on a mission to find a way to provide more to our loyal
clientele without losing the country charm that has
developed over time.
And we did it!
Now you can gather up your girlfriends for a 20 minute
drive west of Edmonton for lattes and a unique local
shopping experience.
Never dismiss those creative sparks that enter your mind.
They may seem like squirrels but out of all those crazy
ideas, may come the one nut that is worth cracking.
