“Customers buy confidence…so experience and
knowledge are critical to business leadership. I
remember a time, five years ago, when I was being
grilled by the World Bank. They wanted to know
if I could do all I had proposed, by myself. They
needed to have that confidence in me. To succeed,
you must have that confidence in YOU! You must
know you’ve got what it takes.” My vision is to make a difference in the world
by bringing women an exceptional product that
not only nurtures their skin and enhances their
magnificence, but also unites all women to work
together towards a common success. I actively
seek to connect with other female entrepreneurs
and learn from their challenges and successes. It’s
through sharing like this that we grow as people.”
Ellie Bianca is the embodiment of Evelyne’s life’s
work as a chemist and an environmental scientist.
Nyairo was consulting in Chad when she chanced
upon the secret to the village women’s ageless skin
– the locally made Shea butter. She seized upon
the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of
these village women by sourcing their products,
thereby assuring them ongoing financial support. Ellie Bianca is a social enterprise, profit-sharing with
the women in Africa, as well as sponsoring African
children. “I believe, like my dad, that education is a
strong defense against ignorance and oppression.
We can change the world through the gift of
knowledge.”
“I grew up knowing my ‘why’, my chosen purpose.
I wanted to be a good scientist; to solve the
world’s greatest problems; to travel and experience
different cultures. I didn’t plan on being a single
mom, but it’s the best thing that ever happened to
me. When I saw my daughter for the first time, she
became my greatest ‘why’. I knew instantly I would
do anything to make her world a better place. Now
I had to find the ‘how’.”
Evelyne’s beloved daughter is both the namesake
and the inspiration behind the innovative
enterprise, Ellie Bianca, a global, socially conscious
venture celebrating pure, effortless, female beauty,
self-worth and empowerment.
“I wanted the company to be a positive example
for my girl, encouraging pride in her African origins
and teaching her that achieving your ambitions is
your own responsibility. ‘Kind to your skin, kind to
the earth, kind to women’, I created Ellie Bianca to
spread the message that beauty is so much more
than an aesthetic.
Professionally, Evelyne also mentors aspiring
entrepreneurs, eager to reach the higher echelons
of big business themselves. She cites a pervasive
lack of confidence as the reason that less than 1%
of female-owned businesses generate a million-
dollar revenue. It’s a statistic that this dynamic
visionary is passionate about improving in her
dedication to leave a positive legacy for all women
but, especially, her daughter. “I want to set an
example for her. Young girls need to know that we
can build million-dollar corporations too.”
“Very few women possess the powerful level of
confidence essential in these super competitive
environments. We tend to overthink things,
wanting everything to be perfect. I say, ‘Just
do it!’ Women need to believe more strongly in
themselves.
I believe in myself! I have never doubted that Ellie
Bianca would be a billion-dollar company. That’s
my goal – for myself, and for all the women I want
to empower to succeed. Open your mind, open
your whole self to receive. Let’s stop limiting
ourselves!”
The iconic “Ellie Bianca Woman” is who we all

her fears, bravely following her dreams. Committed
to her cause, confident she deserves the best, she
shines with elegance and ease. Living a life beyond
limitations, she’s an inspiration to all.
