Throughout my life I’ ve had the outlook that I have no regrets, just learnings. Truth be told, there have been some huge learning opportunities along the way. Having said that, had I known earlier on in my career, the things I know now – I wouldn’ t have changed a thing. I truly believe that every step along the way has allowed me to grow and develop not only as an individual but also as a professional business woman.
I stepped into the Coaching Arena as I was seeking something that would differentiate me from others. Most of my peers had lengthy tenure compared to mine. So, recognizing that I would never be able to match the experience that comes along with all those years of service, I sought something that I could bring to the table that would support them, and myself, as we worked towards growing the company culture.
That’ s when I became intrigued by this world of coaching. Initially, I intended to take just the preliminary training, but the more exposure I had to the power of coaching, the more engaged I became. Working diligently, I first attained my Associate Certified Coaching designation, followed by the Professional Certified Coach designation, and have continued to be a member in good standing with the International Coaching Federation. I also am recognized as a Mentor Coach for the ICF.
Since then I have left‘ Corporate Canada’ and established my own Coaching Practice. It is through this fulltime commitment to the world of coaching that I have the honor of supporting individuals who are dissatisfied with their current state. My clients have collaborated with me and we’ ve seen increased production results, improved relationships, increased employee engagement and minimized staff turnover.
I’ ve heard coaching described as the‘ vehicle’ that gets a person from where they are in their life now, to where they want to be. Recognizing that I specialize in‘ Leadership’ and‘ Team Coaching,’ the desired end state is that a leader or a team moves forward …. As determined entirely by that client.
For coaching to work, there needs to be a fit between coach and coachee. Through an initial coaching consult, it’ s determined if my skills meet the client’ s needs.
