I am Dr Cathy Matheson , Senior Lecturer in Events Management . My work centres on three broad themes .
First , the consumption of cultural events , specifically audience perceptions of authenticity , consumer motivations and spiritual attitudes , and the relationship between consumer satisfaction and event quality . Second , the meaning and significance of event-led urban regeneration . Finally , social justice and its connection to mega-events , namely perceptions of human trafficking for sexual exploitation and the associated preventative measures .
