were you when you started
professional modelling?
Mosiara : I was 17 yrs old when I started
professional modelling
UG : How long have you worked as a professional model?
Mosiara : I have been in this career for two years now.
UG : What are your hobbies?
Mosiara : My hobbies are modelling, swimming, travelling, socializing and reading novels.
UG : How did you realise you could model?
Mosiara : It was a passion inside me since I was a little girl
UG : How did you turn what is a hobby for many into a successful profession?
Mosiara : My passion for modelling made me so determined, hardworking and consistent in the field that helped
me grow to be a professional model.
UG : How can you describe the Kenyan Modelling landscape?
Mosiara : I can describe the Kenyan modelling landscape as unstable. As you can remember last year when
#PAYMODELSKE trended because models were taken for granted. Modelling jobs are seasonal, so it becomes
hard for one to depend on modelling only in Kenya.
UG : What are some of the challenges that you face?
Mosiara : Some of the challenges faced are lack of jobs. The jobs are very seasonal and the market is very
competitive. Also failure of receiving your payment after a job done or a long wait for your payment.
