EDITOR’S WELCOME
WELCOME TO
“WHAT’S NEW IN FITNESS”
Hi, and welcome to the Spring 2018 edition of the WNiF Mag.
The mission of WNiF is to present fitness
professionals with the knowledge that
allows more informed commercial
decision to be made to benefit their
business.
It’s hard to believe that this is the 20th Edition of the WNiF
Magazine. What once began as a single annual publication is
now distributed quarterly. It’s all about the content and we’re
certainly not in short supply of that. Talking of supply, as an
industry, the breadth and depth of new technology and

innovation available on the market never ceases to amaze me. This is the case for
both commercial and domestic markets. As we know, technology is forever
changing; it’s the innovation from the past. Innovation however, is something new
that was never created before, like Mirror, the new virtual fitness platform streamling
live and on-demand group fitness classes to your home, on a mirror (see page 52 and
read more online)!
Our Spring 2018 Edition is packed with great articles, too many to mention. Our
‘Feature Article’ from Adala Bolto Boutique Versus Traditional Gym (page 28) is well
worth a read. Backed by Diana Williams, the founder of Fernwood Fitness, ZADI
Training is a new boutique studio catering to the female only market an continues the
boutique theme of a more ‘personal experience’ compared to that of a tradional
gym. Female specific, talilored workout programs with a focus on HIIT in a high-
energy, trendy atmosphere is the offering. We wish them every success.
From all the Team at WNiF, enjoy the magazine and we wish you a fit, healthy and
happy Spring.
Craig Mac :)
