[ WM ] What are a few of your favorite worship albums?
[ Mark ] I’ m reaching back to the late twentieth century for one of my faves: Shout It Loud! with Jacque DeShetler. Great songs, super arrangements, and a smokin’ band( including Carl Albrecht on drums). The energy is palpable.
Salvador’ s Con Poder and Oh Lord, You’ re Beautiful: Songs of Worship by Keith Green rank high on my list.

[ WM ] Do you have advice for worship percussionists?
[ Mark ] Understand the importance of percussion and how it functions within the ensemble. Embrace the position and find the art in all you play. You might be the person who plays the least in the ensemble; make every note count!
