John Chisum is a veteran songwriter, recording artist, author, and music industry leader with more than four decades of experience in Christian music. He is the founder and president of Nashville Christian Songwriters( NCS), an organization dedicated to empowering Christian songwriters and artists to develop their gifts, fulfill their calling, and create music that impacts the world. I have known John for years and appreciate his big vision for ministry through songwriters … and this studio we are profiling is part of that larger plan.

How many inputs? Do you use line level or preamp channel ADAT expanders for additional channel count? 16 inputs. We do not use any expanders.
Do mostly produce your own music or record music for other people? We produce for our artists at NCS Records

Are you set up to track / record live bands? Yes, as long as it’ s at 16 channels or less, we’ ll track! It’ s a little tight having a full band in but we love it!
Do you use external mic pre’ s, compressors etc? Yes. Neve 1073OPX, A-Designs Pacifica, CAPI VP28( 2), Rupert Neve Designs Shelford( 2), API The Channel Strip, Chandler Limited TG 12411, Universal Audio 1176LN( 2).
