PickPlus Picks
BOSS has refreshed its popular lineup of guitar gig bags, bringing meaningful upgrades that make transporting instruments safer and more convenient for working musicians. The updated range includes the CB-EG25 and CB-EG15 for electric guitar, the new CB-EB15 for bass, the CB-AG15 for acoustic guitar, and the slimline CB-EG05. Across the lineup, BOSS has increased padding for improved protection, enhanced lower-bout support, and redesigned storage pockets that now provide better organization while accommodating larger accessories, including compact BOSS performance pedals. Every model features soft interior lining, secure neck rests, durable carry handles, and both shoulder and backpack-style carrying options. The flagship CB-EG25 offers the highest level of protection with integrated impact panels that create a semi-rigid structure, thicker side padding, adjustable neck rests, and a customizable interior end guard to fit a variety of electric guitars. The CB-EG15 delivers many of the same premium features in a lighter package, while the new CB-EB15 extends that design to electric bass players.
Acoustic players benefit from the CB-AG15’ s improved end-pin support and increased padding, while the compact CB-EG05 remains an excellent lightweight option with upgraded materials and a more comfortable handle design. Available now through authorized BOSS dealers, the refreshed gig bag lineup starts at $ 79.99. www. boss. info / us

Picks, next to strings, are one of the simplest ways to change your tone and sound on the cheap. I found PickPlus picks and I had to give their unique shape and design a try. These picks are designed with accessibility in mind for players that might otherwise be challenged to hold traditional shaped plectrums. Making it possible for musicians with tremors, arthritis, veterans and senior citizens to play guitar easier. PickPlus picks featured an extended grip out from the plectrum, a grip space, traditional pick tip, beveled edge and raised letters and textures to help with gripping. PickPlus currently offers three different models with varying extended grip sizes, the Elite, Pro and Plus Models. All of the picks start at $ 4.99 for single picks or $ 19.95 for the Sampler Pack. Thicknesses range from medium. 80 to heavy 1.0. The extended grip allows you enlist other fingers in your hand to hold the plectrum and not just be dependent upon your index finger and thumb. PickPlus are very well made, and I can certainly see them being of benefit to players that are challenged with their pick grip. Innovative design to keep players playing guitar longer! www. thepickplus. com
