dreadnought body … the “ black smoke ” color and white pickguard have a more classic feel to it .

Preferred Vocal Mic for Stage / for Studio
In my home studio my go to for demos is a Shure SM7B . It ’ s just quick and easy , and has such a direct pattern you don ’ t have to worry about bleed . But for vocals and guitars , you can ’ t beat a Neumann U67 for recording . On stage I typically use a SE Electronic V7 .

The strings I prefer for my acoustics are the D ’ Addario Phosphor Bronze . With my electric , I ’ m bad , I typically don ’ t change them until they start to hurt lol … Right now , I ’ m rocking Ernie Balls and they ’ re doing great . Usually 11 ’ s . Although I have a Gretsch Panther that I keep 0.13 ’ s on and it ’ s tuned down a whole step .

You mean we ’ re not all using Cleartune on our iPhones ? l like Snarks for in the studio , however the D ’ Addario one is super low profile , which is great . The Boss TU-2 or TU-3 floor pedal is just still unbeatable .

$ 599 and up How do you capture song ideas ? Honestly , whatever is laying around , which is typically an iPhone . However , in the writing world it ’ s said if you can ’ t remember the song then it ’ s probably not good anyways … so still to this day I try to just remember it .
What is the next piece of gear you would be excited to have ? I would be really excited to own a Rupert Neve Designs 5088 Console . Honestly , I ’ ll be happy with anything anyone wants to send me . Ha ! :)
